My stay at Devonport House was absolutely superb! The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of options including fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, and even pancakes. The property itself was fantastic with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and it was situated right next to a beautiful forest reserve on Signal Mountain. The hospitality and service exceeded my expectations, with the owners providing helpful suggestions and even a personal welcome note and complimentary glass of wine. As a tourist, I absolutely loved the homy feeling of the place. the hosts went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special by adding chocolates, roses, and champagne to our room. the location was also perfect, offering a quiet and peaceful atmosphere while still being close to the V&A Waterfront, downtown core, and Table Mountain. the view of Table Mountain from our room was breathtaking, and the protected green space backing onto the yard provided extra privacy. the attention to detail in the room, including the welcome note, bottle of wine, and great coffee, made us feel right at home. Jacques and Lynne were excellent hosts, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options including fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, pancakes, cold cuts. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends, and I would love to visit again myself.
Felt very lucky, no complaints.

The location was unbeatable, with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. It was a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
While the breakfast provided was good, it would have been nice to have a hot breakfast option like scrambled eggs or an omelette. parking was a bit tight, especially when the accommodation was fully occupied.

It's also situated on a hill, providing guests with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. the rooms are spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated. the staff are highly accommodating and pay close attention to detail, providing personalized handwritten notes, chocolates, and wine bottles. the breakfast is delicious, and the pool area is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
There isn't much variety in terms of amenities and facilities available at the hotel.

The hotel location was really convenient, close to a nice and quiet neighborhood with good restaurants and cafes within walking distance, and with beautiful views of a famous mountain. the staff was super friendly and helpful, always making sure guests were happy with their stay. the rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The hotel lacked some amenities that would make the stay even better. For instance, there was no pool or gym on-site, which would have been nice to have as part of the hotel services.

Felt like a home away from home, situated in the most breathtaking part of the city. The location is incredibly convenient, close to the city center yet nestled in a tranquil hillside with unobstructed views. The owners, Jaques and Lynn, along with the staff, Grant and Primrose, went above and beyond to ensure our family had the best possible experience. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts by the pool, excellent coffee, and the peacefulness of the neighborhood. Definitely the best BnB we've ever stayed at!
For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated play area for children.
